Poster contest
"The Renaissance of the night train"
Back on Track Belgium vzw-asbl organised a European poster competition " The Renaissance of the Night Train".
The poster competition took place within the European Year of Rail as an official #EUYearofRail event. Objective was to promote the night train within the European transport sector goals formulated in the European Green Deal.
Our poster competition is a nod to the past of graphic art, that we all know from the posters of illustrious night trains such as "Ostende-Vienne Express", not forgetting that today's European transport sector has changed a lot.

Update 17/11/2021: Due to organisational reasons, no former CIWL-employee will be in the jury and the public's choice round will not take place. Watches will be given to laureat n°5 up to 15.

Update 30/09/2021: Muntpunt library will host a vernissage on 2nd of December 2021. The posters will be visible all month from Place de la Monnaie, in the center of Brussels.

First

Second
European Sleeper is sponsoring the competition by offering a ticket for 2 people in a private compartment from Brussels to Prague or vice versa, including breakfast.

Third
The third prize is offered by Ostend Vienna Orient Experience to travel with up to 5 people in a compartment to winter or summer destinations.

Fourth
The fourth prize, the People's Choice Award, is offered by the Belgian watch brand Ice Watch. The first 5 winners of the People's Choice Award will receive an Ice Watch, which runs on solar energy( "The Solar Power") so they can always arrive on time for their train!
Student prize
The prize for the student category includes a private workshop at the Grafik (risography - drawing - animation - linography - silkscreen - ...) and a A3 print
at the shop.
A goodie bag with paper goods and drawing materials for all the participating students.
